CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Coronavirus Safeguarding Measures and Controls:
Our number one priority is the safety of Safetymark Training colleagues and delegates. As a responsible training provider, we will play our part in helping Britain overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.
On arrival
Delegates will be asked to complete a Coronavirus Self-Declaration Form about the type of symptoms and exposure to COVID-19. If our office staff or the instructor considers it unsafe for you to attend i.e. you are displaying symptoms - you may be refused entry. This is at the discretion of the instructor to ensure the safety of Safetymark Training colleagues and delegates in attendance.
Communication
Covid-19 control measures will be discussed and agreed relative to the training facility covering venue house rules, reference to signage as applicable and risk assessment.
Social Distancing
We’re all getting used to staying apart from others and this rule applies in the training centre just as it does in the supermarket. The Government advice is to stay 2 metres (2m) apart and that’s what our guidance is based on. Theory training rooms will be laid out so delegates are not directly facing each other and the seating arranged as per the government guidance.
Health & Hygiene
We will provide handwashing facilities (soap and water) and alcohol-based hand gel in areas where washing facilities are not readily available; delegates will be encouraged to wash their hands regularly. We will carry out frequent cleaning and disinfecting equipment, controls, objects and surfaces that are touched regularly, particularly in areas of high use such as door handles, light switches and reception areas using appropriate cleaning products.
PPE
Delegates are required to wear the following minimum PPE:
- 3-ply surgical face mask (face covering)
- Disposable gloves
- Face shields for office staff (as required)
NOTE: Delegates who are not in possession of their own PPE or who refuse to wear additional provided PPE and/or refuse to follow guidance on social distancing will not be allowed to commence/continue training.
Welfare facilities and canteens
Delegates may make adequate use of canteen facilities and toilets, this will be controlled to maintain social distancing and hygiene.
Practical Facilities
Floor areas will be marked to show delegates where to stand, ensuring social distancing is adhered to, but also to maximise their visibility and understanding of the practical training. Where the social distancing requirements are unable to be maintained e.g. (using training equipment) additional precautions like limiting the exposure time and wearing face coverings and gloves are utilised. Training equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between use by each delegate.
Thank you for your cooperation.
